Dissolved_234th_method large volumes of seawater (up to 10004000 l) were collected by a submersible pump
Particulate_234th_method Suspended particles were defined as the particles retained by filtration of different size classes were sequentially collected by Nitex screens (i.e. 150 50 and 10 um) with an in situ filtration system. Particulate matter collected on Nitex screens was subsequently resuspended into GF/F filtered seawater.
